User Managment

Adding new user

  1. Go to the Users tab

  2. Select + Add User

    The user creation form will appear on the right.

  3. Fill in the data and select ADD USER

Web User

Passwords should contain three of the four-character types:

  • Uppercase letters: A-Z
  • Lowercase letters: a-z
  • Numbers: 0-9
  • Symbols: ~`! @#$%^&*()_-+={[}]|:;"'<,>.?/

User account settings

  1. Go to the Users tab

  2. You will see three icons next to the user you want to edit.

    Select pencil icon to can change the name, surname, avatar, role, tags and e-mail adress.

    Select lock icon to change password.

    Select eye icon to preview informations about users and assign them to training.

Registration

Request registration

A new user can ask the administrator to create an account. New user can do this from the login page.

  1. Go to https://< server url >.

    You will see a login form.

  2. Select Registration request

    You will be taken to the account creation page.

  3. Fill in all the details and click Send Request

    The new user's request will be sent to the administrator. Once your request is approved by the administrator, you will receive an email notification.

Accept/decline registration request

The administrator can accept or reject a new user's request to create an account

Register User

  1. Go to https://< server url > and and log in to your account. Then go to the Users tab.

  2. Change the switch button from Users to Requests.

    You will see all requests from new users.

  3. To the left of the user data you will see two icons - refuse and accept.

Register User Request

The user will receive an email notification of your decision.

Role

Before you grant a user access, you must assign a role (admin, user or editor). To assign a role to the user who sent the request, click on his/her details and then click Edit. Select the role of the user and click Save.
