Installing Aidar.Skills¶
Standalone Quest (Recommended)¶
Aidar.Skills Player runs natively on Meta Quest headsets without requiring a PC connection.
Requirements¶
- Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 or Quest Pro with the latest firmware
- Wi-Fi connection for downloading lessons and logging in (not required for offline mode)
Installation¶

Install the Aidar.Skills Player app on your Quest headset (provided by your organization's administrator).

Make sure your Quest is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Launch the Aidar.Skills app from the Quest app library.
Tip
After the first download of lessons, you can use the app in offline mode without a Wi-Fi connection.
PC VR (Optional)¶
For complex lessons with high-polygon 3D models, you can run the Player on a PC with connected VR headset.

Storage 1 GB for Player, additional space for lesson content

Configuration on PC¶
You need to install the following applications on your PC:
- Steam VR download here
One of the listed software, depending on the manufacturer of the VR headset you have:
- Meta Quest Link (Meta) download here
- HTC Dashboard (HTC) download here
Configuration on VR headset¶
Make sure that you have the latest software version on your VR headset and that you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Editor¶
The Editor application runs on a PC (Windows). It does not require VR headset but can optionally preview lessons in VR if a headset is connected.
