Changing a pivot point in a 3D model (Blender)

Method 1: Using the 3D cursor

  1. Select the Cursor tool from the toolbar.
  2. Click in the viewport to place the cursor where you want the new pivot point.
  3. Go to Object > Set Origin > Origin to 3D Cursor.

Method 2: Using Transform Affect Only Origins

  1. In the header, select Options > Transform Affect Only Origins.
  2. Select the Move tool.
  3. Reposition the origin point in the viewport.
  4. Disable Transform Affect Only Origins when done.

Adding images to the scene

You can only add 3D models directly to the scene. To display a 2D image in the scene:

  1. Upload the image file (.png or .jpg) and a 3D model with a transparent texture as resources in the Web App.

  2. Add both resources to the scene in the Editor.

  3. The system will create an image plane from the uploaded image that can be positioned and scaled in the scene.

  4. Use the Image Scale property in the Inspector to adjust the size of the image plane.
